My Album for FREE (Limited Time)

For a very limited time I’m going to make the download of my kids album “Sing a Song for Safety” (high quality 320k mp3) available for FREE!

Sing a Song for Safety album artAll you have to do is visit my Bandcamp page at richpalmer.bandcamp.com. I do ask that you submit your email address to validate the download. I will not sell, tear, spindle, mutilate, slice, dice, mix, mash or make hundreds of julienne fries out of your email address for any other reason than to add you to my notification list. And don’t expect a bunch of spam from me unless I’m singing Monty Python songs. (Spam, spam, spam, spam wonderful spam, wonderful spam.) I don’t like spam email and am pretty sure you don’t like it, either.

And… if you choose to donate anything toward the album, that is great, too. Anything donated will go toward my new album project of pop/rock style songs.

So to recap:

Thanks for your support and have a nice day.

Direct Selling Your Safety

This audio is almost eight minutes of concern about a company that is direct selling safety products. Overall their products look good. Their research seems accurate (to a degree).

My concern is their approach and their level of expertise. The persons "presenting" the safety demonstration are not qualified and educated safety personnel. Most have no experience in safety at all.

Know what you are getting into when you attend a "free" dinner and safety presentation. Get your questions answered and follow those up with answers from credible agencies outside the presentation before you buy.

And most importantly… Have an established and practiced plan. Know how to react when an alarm sounds. Just because you THINK you know what you would do doesn’t mean you’ll be able to do it when the time comes. Practice! and make wise choices about your safety.

My Wife Wants a Noneday

Noneday Sounds Cool

As we were waking this morning, my wife proclaimed “I need a Noneday.” She stated that there needs to be a day where she doesn’t have to set her alarm. No getting up for work, no getting up for church, no waking to shuttle one of the kids to this activity or another. Simply… a Noneday. She said that on this day no alarm clock should be allowed to work.

As busy as we’ve been lately, that certainly sounded attractive to me.

Visiting a Different Church

Today we’re going to visit a church we’ve thought of visiting for some time. We have some friends that attend there and they have a very cool youth program. Should be a nice experience.

Podcast and Music Production Planned

Later, I am going to be producing episodes of Blogs, Views and Blues and Audio Gumshoe. Perhaps I’ll be able to get some more tracking done on my CD project, as well. People are wondering if this mythical CD will ever become reality.

Classic PacMan

What’s that? You were looking for something to pass the time? Just wanted to burn a few minutes for no reason at all? Okay, here’s the classic Pacman game for your enjoyment. I found this at SpringWidgets when updating one of my podcast players.
