I wish to thank all of the ladies at the P.E.O. Sisterhood at Southminster Church (Centerville, OH) for their wonderful hospitality.
I had the opportunity today to visit the organization to talk about my Safety Songs CD and to play a few songs for them. I talked about the origins of the program and how and why the safety songs project evolved. It was fun reliving some of the memories. It was more fun talking about the classroom visits and showing them how I often teach the programs while using the songs. These ladies were a great audience and a lot of fun to visit. (The lunch was much appreciated, too!)
Many of the ladies purchased copies of my CD to share with grandkids, friends and other family members. I heard mention of a lot of Easter baskets that were going to be filled with Safety Songs!
Visit P.E.O. International to learn more about this great philanthropic organization. They’ve been around since 1869 and their mission is to promote educational opportunities for women.
