Holiday Tunes for Podcasters

I thought I would remind podcasters that I have a selection of holiday tunes at my Podsafe Music Network listing. Find it at richpalmer.com/pmn.

These are all instrumental tracks, so perhaps they would be good bed music for segments or transitions in your shows.

A bit of history on these songs: They were recorded a few years ago as a gift to friends and family. I had made a full CD of tunes that I thought they would enjoy playing while opening gifts, eating holiday dinner, entertaining friends and family, etc. They were meant to be “ambient” so that they didn’t distract from whatever activity might be taking place.

Oh, also! These were recorded entirely on guitar and bass. Every sound heard, including flutes, oboes, violins, etc. was played on guitar through my Roland GR30 guitar synthesizer. This was a fun project to record. Though the sounds are not always accurate, they made for great experimentation as I attempted to emulate breath patterns, bowing strokes, and standard keys for each of the instruments. Overall a great project to try.

Please use these songs in your holiday shows!
