Working on a Podcast
Wednesday

Okay, I’ve decided that it’s time to jump on the technology bandwagon and create a podcast. I’m not doing it just for the sake of having one, though. I plan to use this podcast as part of my daily gig by providing an audio “learning” environment for those interested in knowing more about safety.
My podcast will have tips for fire safety, injury prevention, and possibly even songs about safety for the kids (not just my own, but from MANY other songwriters and companies willing to lend their material for the show). I note that many of the podcast directories/libraries do NOT have listings for safety under their “Health” or “Education” or “Family” categories. So, I can offer something that isn’t being utilized.
Have you ever wondered how to “secure the water heater to the wall” in the event of an earthquake? You haven’t?! Well, then you might just be the kind of person that needs to hear this show. How do you properly plan AND execute a home fire escape drill? I can tell you how in my program.
Look for information about a “SafetyPodcast” in the near future. I already have all the tools needed. I just need to start writing some scripts and getting some interviews! I’ll join you soon in your iPod, iRiver, or whatever “i” player you might have. (Or you can listen from your desktop if you’re so inclined.)
